The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) is informing that the submission of the Return Form of Remuneration Year 2020 and Year of Assessment 2020 through e-Filing for Forms E, BE, B, M, BT, MT, TF, and TP can be made beginning March 1, 2021.

Taxpayers can access the e-Filing system through the IRBM's official portal at www.hasil.gov.my > MyTax > ezHasil Services > e-Filing.

Taxpayers who log in for the first time to the e-Filing system need to obtain the PIN in advance by visiting an LHDNM branch counter or through the Feedback Form on the LHDNM official portal.

If the taxpayer forgets the e-Filing password, they can reset the password online via e-mail or mobile phone number registered with IRBM.

For taxpayers who are still having problems resetting the e-Filing password, they can call Hasil Care Line at 03-8911 1000 (Domestic) / 603-8911 1100 (Overseas) or visit the nearest IRBM service counter.

First-time users can obtain the PIN at IRBM's branches or fill in the Feedback Form on its website.

In 2021, IRBM expects to receive almost 530,000 Form E Remuneration Year 2020 from registered employers. Meanwhile, for Forms BE, B, BT, M and MT, IRBM expects to receive about 3.27 million forms from individuals with a record of Monthly Tax Deduction (MTD) and CP500 Installment in 2020.

You can find more information on the Return Form Filing Program for the Year 2021 on the official portal www.hasil.gov.my, or you can click here for quick access.

Taxpayers are advised to submit the Return Form and pay their income tax within the stipulated period to avoid any penalty of late submission of the Return Form and late payment of tax levy imposed on them.

Any inquiries and feedback can be forwarded to IRBM through:

  1. Care Line Results at 03-8911 1000 (Domestic) / 603-8911 1100 (Overseas).
  2. HASiL Live Chat.
